Empathy Collage Explanation

Introduction:

Class 5 did an Empathy collage to show what empathy mean and how it feels.

I started off with finding cool pictures like a sunset because it was relaxing and I thought that if some can see the sunset it will be relaxing or in other words romantic for people that is why i put a sunset on my collage.

I cutted around my picture and glued it onto my paper i colored it  all around my paper maroon and blue I put an some words what empathy means to me after we finish we do an animation of empathy.

Conclusion:

As soon as i finish my empathy poster or collage the first 10 people goes to meet the breakers and play against the breakers and get a booklet with their autograph on it.

Compound Sentences                                                                           

FANBOYS

(for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)

A Compound sentence is a sentence that has two simple sentences joined together. When a compound sentence is joined together with a coordinating conjunction (for, and, nor, but, or, yet so), add a comma before a coordinating conjunction.

Hint:  not all conjunctions join two simple sentences (independent clauses). If they are not joining two simple sentences, do not use a comma.

Examples of Comma Rule:

Jordan broke his arm, so he had to go to the hospital.

My dog chased a rabbit around the yard, but he couldn’t catch it.

Amelia opened her locker and grabbed her books for class.

Directions: Underline the FANBOYS in the sentence. If it is joining 2 sentences, insert a comma BEFORE the coordinating conjunction. If it is not joining 2 sentences, do not insert a comma.

Point England School is an cool school I wish I could stay at this school but I cant have to move on to college next year But if I go to college I wish I could go to Tamaki College next year but I am going to Selwyn College

at Point England we use net book , Chromebooks and acer lone books that what I like about Point England School .

Homes

We all need homes to live in . In our homes we sleep , eat , play , and talk most of  time , People need homes because of the necessity for shelter.

Glen Innes Library

Glen Innes Library has books we need to read we need books to read at school homes or all around the world if you can’t read I think you have to because if u are driving and u see a stop sign and you don't stop i think you would be in an car crash that's why we all have to read like what does my teachers say to me they always say it’s cool to read and its cool to achieve.

Community Centre is very Important

Why is the Community centre important because its the beautiful place in Glen Innes my Mom sometimes go their because there's not that much noise  its peaceful and quiet that's why my mom goes there most of the day  

How I Get To School

How I Get To School

Introduction:

Schools starts between 8.30am till 9.00 am.

Firstly my Mom  says my name to wake me up to get ready to school . I woke up and its 8.00 in the morning,  so I cleaned  my bed and cleaned to the bathroom . I brush my teeth then I have a great shower. I looked at the clock for the second time and it was 8.15 and then I said I am going to be late again .

Secondly I got my uniform and put it on . I go into the kitchen  and eat breakfast. When I’d finish eating my breakfast I went and put my lunch in my lunch box. Then I put on my socks , shoes and getting ready to get in the car or go walk to school but mostly in the car.

Conclusion:

When I get to school we have to put down the chairs and get ready for learning we start off with our prayer and a song but I always come late to school.
